In the home run Advancing Time. second in demand.“was overhauled by Rose Queen (out- sider) and within the distance both were beaten in turn by Strathbannock, outsider, who won a fine race to give Mr. Garrod Treverton promotion to the joc- key's class.

Bronze Arrow was fourth. while the hot favourite, Victoria, was never in the picture.
