MAGICAL REVUE AT QUEEN'S
GRAND OPENING TONIGHT
Chang's Magical Revue opens a short season at the Queen's Thea tre tonight at 9.30 o'clock, with "A Trip to Hades." This is the Com- pany's arst visit to the East.
Amongst the bright array of ar- tists in the company, who have appeared
many well-known New York productions are Joanna and Beth Claire, two charming American girls, who, with their brilliant dancing, will soon be the toast of Hongkong.
Most of the scenes are Chinese in character and the presentation. of "The Legend of Princess San Li Tay.", a beautiful and romantic love drama, is staged entirely in the richness of legendery China.
Another unusual presentation in "A Trip to Hades" is the appear- ance of "Ghosts." During this act, "Ghosts" actually appear in the theatre, not only on the stage, but also in the orchestral stalls and the dress circle, and these weird apparitions walk-and talk to members of the audience.
The Management of the Queen's Theatre, It will be remembered, brought The Marcus Show "to Hongkong last year, and there is no doubt that their enterprise in giving Hongkong the world's best In stage entertainment will again' be rewarded with success.
