Prices improved on covering demand together with outside buy-
NEW YORK COTTON: The Government estimates the crop at
11:429.000 of
bales 12,772,000 bales, compared to the estimate month ago. This is considerably above expectations. The market is expected beginning to feel hedges from increasing movement of new crop and may work somewhat lower. While December and March may eventually widen some further over May and July options, we still believe May and July will ultimately trade around ten cents. NEW YORK RUBBER: The quota for the fourth quarter has been raised 10 per cent to 90 per cent of capacity.
CHICAGO WHEAT: The market was depressed by European news. Mills are reported to be buyers at the decline.
