CHUNGKING, Sept. 5 (Central) — Following their re- cent recapture of Niangtzekwan and other Important points in the Shansi-Hopel-Honan border regions, Chinese forces there have scored further sweeping successes over the Japanese.

In a series of daring operations, the Chinese have dealt staggering blows to the Japanese forces and caused the disruption of communications on the Pelping-Hankow and Chengtai Rallways in those areas.

More than 10 important bridges south of Paoting on the Peiping-Hankow Line have been destroyed, sections of ralls torn up and highways, nearby Laethodically damaged. Fangshunkiao station, northeast of. Wangtu, has been re- occupied. At least 1,000 Japanese in various points along the line-have-been-slain in clashes with the Chinese.
