I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of 27 June, informing me that Her Majesty's Government, on reconsideration of my case, had approved of a sum being paid to me in addition to the gratuity of One Hundred and Forty Five Pounds, Six Shillings and Eight Pence, previously notified.
I shall feel much obliged to you for having the documents necessary for me to obtain these sums from the Treasury forwarded to me, addressed to J. Ball, care of Mr. Lingford, Ireland.
