ORDINATION CEREMONY AT CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL

Roman Catholic

An Ordination ceremony took place at the Cathedral yesterday when Holy Orders were conferred on four new priests of the Hongkong" Vicariate and on four members of the Salesian Congregation.

The newly-ordained priests are: Frs Thomas Yu Wing Hing, Ste- {phel Lam" Tsat Cha Anthony Chau To Man and John Wong Yung Mook. The Salesfans who were ordained are: Frs, Francis Wong. John Clifford, Gorardus Roozen and Peter Urballis.

The ceremony was performed by the Bishop. Mgr. Valtorta, assist- ed by many members of the clergy, and there was present a large congregation which included many relatives, and friends of the young priests.

FIRST BLESSINGS

It began with the singing of "Ecce Sacerdos Magnus” on the entry of the Bishop and continu-- ed until the conclusion when the new priests individually imparted their blessing to the members of their family and friends.
