THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS YESTERDAY PURSUED ITS INQUIRIES INTO THE VARIOUS COMPLAINTS THAT HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY HUSBANDS IN HONGKONG FROM THEIR EVACUATED FAMILIES IN MANILA.

Several of those interviewed by a representative of this paper were willing to submit extracts from letters received for publication in furthering the efforts made in these columna to convince the Government of the terrible conditions to which their families have been subjected, during their “deportation," as the Government scheme was so aptly described by an unofficial member of the Legislative Council yesterday.
