An interesting talk on methods of rural rehabilitation was given. by Mr. Percy Chen at the Chinese YMCA, Bridges Street, last night.

Mr. Chen, who is chairman of the 'Shumchun Rural Welfare Cen- tre. sometime ago formulated à programme to resuscitate the live- lihood of the farmers of the Shum- chun area, and the scheme was working satisfactorily until the recent Japanese occupation.
