EXCELLENT AFTERNOON SPORTING
FOR LAWN BOWLS
Best Performance Was By Indian Recreation Club
BY NO. 1"
Once again raini was very apparent in the morning and it was not thought possible for the Lawn Bowls programme to be carried out last Saturday, but the afternoon proved excellent. Only three matches were decided in the Senior League and finished up as ex- pected.
The best performance of the afternoon was put up by the In- .dian Recreation Club who visited. Cox's Road and had an easy win
over the Kowloon Cricket Club.
The obvious reason for this Zimmern, skipping for the first victory is that the K. C. C. had time, had an easy victory over arranged the game on their new Spary. Lopsided Scores Featured Last Week's Games
BY R.O.Y.
Featured by lopsided scores, last week's programme sadly dis. appointed the few fans who journeyed to Caroline Hili in the expet- tation of seeing the weaker squads put up a fair showing against the league leaders. Although an easy win for the Hongkong Brewers was generally expected, South China turned in a dismal display to lose by the wide margin of 14 tailles to 1, on Saturday afternoon.
