I have the honour to report, for

your information, the following

circumstance with

regard to the

Postmaster in this colony.

About the month of August,

or September last, I received a bill from the Post Office for three Letters - 1 of 1/- 1 of 2/- and 1 of 1/4d postage between the 13th February

and

3rd April 1835, as

from England

and

I only arrived here

on the 26th April 1835,

I conceiving this to be some mistake

returned the Bill to the Postmaster

with a note to that effect.
