Cabinet Meeting For Almost Eight Hours
BORDEAUX, June 16 (Havas)-All that is known about Saturday's Cabinet meeting is that it lasted almost eight hours and those present included Marshal Petain, General Weygand, Admiral Darlan and General Vuillemin. A com- munique merely announced that the meeting would be con- tinued today (Sunday).
Official circles stated that the position of France was unchanged.
Official quarters refrained from any comment on discussions of the Cabinet but it was pointed out that late news regarding the serious situation prevailing. parti- cularly on the eastern part of the front, reached the Council during the meeting.
