market became steadier.
NEW YORK COTTON: We strongly favour purchases of May contracts if prepared hold until maturity as at present May con- tracts are 85 points below minimum Loan conceivable plus 20 points cost of delivering contract and there will be no carryover of free cot- ton ineligible for Loan such as depressed contracts below 1938 Loan.
NEW YORK RUBBER: The arket is featureless. CHICAGO WHEAT: The American grain exchanges have off cially suspended trading in grain Mures at below Saturday's clos- ing prices. The Administration is considering $200,000,000 for loan and subsidy payments.
