DARE DEVILS WIN TEN PINS MATCH
At the Hongkong Bowling Alleys on Saturday, the Dare Devils beat the U.S.S. Black Hawk by - 272 pins in a friendly Ten Pins match, the final scores being 3,226. and 2,954 respecdvely.
The game was in the nature of a resum match the previous encounter also being won by the Dare Devils by 205 pins.

The 1940 Lawn Bowls, season was officially opened on Saturday when, despite the persistent drizzle, ten of the 14 matches schedul ed were decided.
In the First Division, Club de Recreio "A", who are the holders of the title, beat Craigengower Cricket Club by the very convincing margin of 34 shots.
