After ruling quietly steady, the market closed dull,
NEW YORK COTTON: Liquidation of May options was fairy active but was well taken by large Spot interests. The South sold and the Trade bought. There was some evidence of price-fixing on sec- decilies. Leas favourable weather conditions in the Western tions were largely offset by the improved conditions in the Central and Eastern sections..
NEW YORK RUBBER: Brying interest has generally improved and and offerings are small.
CHICAGO WHEAT: Conditions are easier on continued profit- taking, and hedge sales and the local market requires new incentive and an increased volume of buying. There have been further bene- ficial rains in the wheat belts particularly the North-West.
