Small Southern liquidation was absorb- ed by scattered domestic and foreign Trade interests. The weather in the cotton belt was favourable
The market reflected reports for pos-- sible interruption with shipments in the Pacific and the tightness of the shipment market. There has been considerable realizing on the advance.
CHICAGO WHEAT; Reports of further moisture caused early easiness, but prices rallied on evening-up by local interests expect- ing a government report tomorrow. There has been some replace- ment of sold-out imes on news of more intensified warfare and on the belief that the rainfall was insufficient to relieve the situation and much more is direly needed.
