Protest By King Of Denmark
According to an Amster dam despatch, King Chris- tian of Denmark has issued a proclamation from 'Ama- lienborg Palace protesting against the occupation of his country and calling on the population to keep calm, sayı Reuter from London.
"God save you all. God save Denmark" were the conclud- » ing words of the personal appeal to the population broadcast by King Christian on the Copenhagen radio.
Another appeal. signed by the King and the Prime Minister, stated that the Danish Government had., un- der protest, decided to con- tinue to lead the country un- der the conditions created by ihe German occupation.
The German troops in Den- mark had now established contact
with the Danish armed forces, and it was the people's duty to refrain from"

It was officially announced in London yesterday, according to Reuter, that the British and French Governments have assured the Norwegian Government that, in view of the German ağ- gression of their country, they have decided forthwith to ex- tend full aid to Norway and have intimated that they will fight the war in full association with her.
The necessary naval and military steps have accordingly been taken in conjunction with the French Government.
