Sugarcane has started to appear in the Chungking market. A few months hence, many corners in Chungking will be as lit- tered with crushed sugarcane as they were with tangerine peels a few months ago. NEW YORK, (Havas-By Air Mail)—An all-time high was reached in production of crude oil throughout the world during the month of December, according to "World Petroleum” which uses mainly official figures 'for its compilations.
