KEEN RACING ON SECOND DAY OF EASTER MEETING: CONFUSION BAY & BURFORD IN DEAD-HEAT
Guinness Time Pays The Biggest Win Dividend
In strong contrast to the damp and dismal conditions in which the opening day of the "Easter meeting of the Bongkong Jockey Club was fun, the second day's pro- gramme was held in delightful weather yesterday when there was a large crowd at the Valley.
The track, however, was still slightly soft and the times returned were, therefore, somewhat slow. The racing was. very keen, nevertheless, and there were some close and ex- citing finishes.
RUMOURED SALE OF DUNBAR
STABLE
It is rumoured that Mr. Lambert Dunbar has sold his stable to Mr. T. K. LJ.,
There was a dead-heat in the 'second race when Burford and Confusion Bay passed the winning post together.] Wilber beat West Lake to win the sixth event by a short head and, Jennifer's victory over Jober in the seventh event was by a mere head.
