His Majesty's representative in China should prosecute persons punishable under the Act respecting Slave Trade or kidnapping and should continue to report particulars of each ship to the British functionary at the port of disembarkation.

(7) The Master should enter into a bond, in writing, to comply with the Government Regulations; such bond to be enforceable at the port of disembarkation or elsewhere, and the Consul's certificate to be evidence of non-compliance.
