The price for Ready Silver drop- ped 1/18 to 21.3/16 yesterday but the Forward rate was unchanged at 21.1/8. Silver advices reported small sales made by Speculators. The market was quiet and idle. American Silver was quoted at 34.3/4 for Spot.
The London/New York cross-rate was quoted at 4021/2. New York London was quoted at 397.5/8.

Was obtainable at the Opening at 1/2.29/32, buyers bidding 1/2. 15/16. Later 1/2.29/32 was done to a moderate "extent for Cash. The tone at 1 pm. was 1/2.7/8 February/May. buyers at 1/2.29/32 February.
