MONTREAL, Feb. 12 (Reuter)—The death occurred yes- terday of the first BARON TWEEDSMUIR OF ELSFIELD, P.C., G.C.M.G., C.H., Governor-General of Canada since 1935.
Lord Tweedsmuir, who was formerly John Buchan, was 65 years of age. He suffered concussion as the result of a fall inside Government House. His condition gave rise to grave anxiety on account of his increasing weakness.
