NEW YORK COTTON: There was liquidation for March. The market was quiet though there was constant European Interest, and domestic spinner buying on a broader scale. Sentiment was mixed. NEW YORK RUBBER: There was some light buying by fac- tories. Sentiment was disturbed by the renewed peace-moves.
CHICAGO WHEAT: A thin local market eased on official fore- cast of fair weather conditions in the South-west over the week-end and on renewed peace-talks, but closed firm on less pressure and higher foreign cables.

The marke. then eased off and closed at noon with sellers at 4.25/64 US Dollars sellers early in the morning at 7.9/32. The rate later rose to 7.13/32. A reaction follow- ed and closed with sellers at 7.9/32 for Spot.
