Snow And Frost-Then Slap Stick Comedy Scenes On The French Front: B.B.C.

Observer's Review

LONDON, Feb, & (Reater)-In a review of the activities of last week, Mr. Charles Gardner, B.B.C. observer with the RAF. inFrance, said that the westher was, of course, the chief topic.

They had frost and snow and then frust again. The second front caused a traffic hold-up and there was a collection of cats at the foot of the hills.

Such activity last September might have been to Germany's advantage. But it is most likely that the Germans did not indulge in it for fear of re- prisals,

POSTPONED LEAVE One of the leading items in the news during the week was the postponement of leave for "the second time, due to what was call ed "The Flap" transport troubles, caused by the weather. This second postponement, however, showed up headquarters in a hu- man light.

NUT FOR THIRD TIME / One man was going home to be married his wedding being fixed for Thursday. He already had to postpone his wedding twice be- fore... once when war began, and the second time when leave was postponed.
