SPECIAL TO THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS

"The Chinese Government at Chungking, have in- formed the Hongkong University authorities that they are anxious to secure the services of Engineering graduates of this University for national reconstruction work in China"-so said an announcement from Mr. W. B. Finni- gan, Registrar of the Hongkong University.

Seven Chinese' graduates in Civil, Electrical and Me- chanical Engineering answered their country's call, and are now building bridges, highways, and manning power- stations in Free China.
