AS EASTER FALLS EARLY THIS YEAR-EASTER SUNDAY IS ON MARCH 21–LENT ALSO BEGINS EARLY, AND ITS APPROACH. IS ANNOUNCED BY THE FACT TILAT TOMORROW IS SEPTUAGE. SIMA SUNDAY. THIS IS THE FIRST OF THE MOVABLE FEASTS, WHOSE DATE DEPENDS ON THAT OF FASTER." "SEPTUAGESIMA" MEANS SEVENTIETH.

The names was given somewhat incorrectly, and by analogy with the name "Quadragesima" which is the Church name for Lent, This word means fortieth and has reference to the fact that there are forty days in Lent.
