FROM ROZA BROS. Silver prices rose 1/8 yesterday for both deliveries. the quotations being 22 3/8 for both Ready and Forward. Silver advices reported India as having bought to a small extent. The market was steady but quiet: American Silver was quoted at 34, 3/4 for Spot.
"The London-New-York cross-rate was quoted at 402.1/2. New York London was quoted at 396.1/4.
'CHICAGO WHEAT: Local buying held the market steady until near the close, when increased offerings and liquidation had an effect. Outside interests were small.
