Interest In Possibilities Of New Territories

General excellence of exhibits was the feature of the 12th An- nual Articultural Exhibition which was opened at Fanling on Satur- day by His Excellency the Governor, Sir Geoffry Northcote. His Excellency was accompanied by Lady Northcote, They were ceived by the Rev. H. R. Weils, Chairman of the New Territo:les Agricultural Association, the visitors including, Sir Atholl and Lady McGregor and other well-known Chinese.
The competitors included the Sunny Farm, Hong Lok Yuen, owned by General 1 Fuk-lam, the Botanical And Forestry Depart- ment, Mr. E Tong-sen's farm, Lady Ho-tung's farm, The Sunuse Farm, the Agricultural Institute for Refugee Students, the Shum- chun Rural Welfare Centie and other local farms in the New Ter- ritories.
