CHANGES IN WATERWORKS
ORDINANCE
Changes in the Waterworks Or- dinance 1938 authorise, from Jan. 1. 1940, the quarterly collection, in arrears, of meter rents and flush- ing fees instead of annually in advance.
The changes also authorise the adoption "of a minimum charge of one quarter for the above rents. the annual amounts of which have not been changed.
Commencing on Jan. 1, 1940. therefore, the charges for meter rents and flushing fees will be billed girterly and added to the same account as that for charge- able water.
