The market was quiet.
NEW YORK COTTON: Hedge selling and Bombay liquidation today resulted in an easier tendency but offerings were comparative- ly light January position was conspicuously firm. There was some Trade demand and price-fixing on the scale down.
NEW YORK RUBBER: London offerings were freer and de- mand was slow.
CHICAGO WHEAT: There has been snow" in the North-West and forecast of moisture in parts of the South-West, while lack of demand is offset by expectations of a bullish winter acreage condi- tion tomorrow. Substantial loan withdrawals are reported.
