Market closed quiet. Prices eased on Equidation and "stop-loss" selling.
COTTON: Prices advanced on price-fixing and good foreign de mand while contracts were scarce. Spots' were firm and there was a continued, demand for textiles and retall reports were encouraging. Our opinion remains bullish, believing that the tightness in 'free supplies,' the excellent domestie consumption cutlook and the general expectation of good exports will warrant higher prices eventually,
RUBBER: The easiness of the primary markets, the persistent December liquidation and the withdrawal of factory Interests were depressing factors. Favourable private estimates of November con- sumption were ignored.
WHEAT: The expectation of heavy abandonment of Winter" Bliver prices dropped 1/8 yester-acreage due to the recent drought conditions and unfavourable crop day for both deliveries, the quota- reports from Australia and Argentine were today's bullish factors.
