THE NINETEENTH PERSON TO BE FOUND GUILTY ON THE CHARGE OF MURDER SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR was sentenced to death by the Chief Jus- tice, Sir Atholl MacGregor, at the Criminal Sessions yes- terday. The accused was TANG CHU, alias SHU HANG- TSAI, who was arraigned on the capital charge in con- nexion with the killing of a 21-year-old youth, Leung Ki, in Chinese Street on September 28.
The defence was that there was a fight between the parties and that the accused, who was struck Arst, finding himself cornered by two men, picked up a knife and, right- ly or wrongly, used it in self-defence..
