The market was steady.
COTTON: Spots today were firm and offerings were light with the mills being the largest buyers. The Trade bought nears while foreign buying was for distant months.
RUBBER: The spurt in automobile output is further assuring an upward trend in domestic consumption of rubber for the balance of the year. Offerings of actuals were scarce, and the primary market was firm.
WHEAT:
No material relief in the dry sections was indicated and a potentially tight cash position is developing as a result of the 149 1/2 loan situation.
