Scotland and Switzerland have entered the final of the Gutierrez - Shield - competition as the result of their victory last Sunday over India, and England, respectively.

Whereas Scotland's victory over India was not entirely un- expected, Switzerland's success against England came as a com- plete surprise. Many bowlers. had taken it for granted that the game was already in the bag for England, and that Scotland would have to go all out in order to beat India.
