COTTON: The market to-day was steady but quiet, with the spot basis slightly enaler. Textiles were quiet with prices steady. Bombay, interests are reported to be a principal buyer of distant months Cloth market observers expressed the opinion that in view of the continuance of very large mill takings recently, they looking forward to heavy consumption for months to come,
RUBBER: Fears of disruption in shipments to the United States from the Near East and rubber in a tight supply situation Manufacturers continued to be the best buyers.
