MARSMAN ANNUAL

MEETING

Continued from Pàge 9

Your Company has an invest- ment of F. 250,000.- in Marsman's Algemeene Exploratle Maatschap- pl equal to approximately £28,- 000.-.-. This investment, besides also showing at thisʼtime a prodt on exchange, looks very promising. That company has acquired the Mangan! Mine and retains several aptions on other properties and an interest in a Kast gold alluvini project in the Netherlands East Indles, on which testing to date has shown surprisingly favourable results.

GOLD PRODUCTION

The construction of the mill building and machine shops, ware- houses, blacksmiths shops, labour- ers' quarters, etc., has been com- pleted.

A considerable quantity of ore has already been mined during development work and is placed in dumps ready for commencement of operations." The property is expected to commence production of gold by the first of December.

Gentlemen, in closing my re- marks I would say that although we have had unprecedented dim- culties to contend with, and mis- takes have undoubtedly been made in the early stages of the Com- pany's existence, for some tirne now we have been in a favourable position to carry on with our activities.

REPUTATION AT STAKE

I would like to add that it is my determination, to do my utmost, given reasonable favourable con- ditions. not only to recoup

the losses of the past, but to place the Company on a fair dividend earn- Ing basis as soon as possible.

It is the only Marsman rub- sidiary which is not in this position: my reputation is at stake and I shall not rest con- tent until it is.

Mr. J. H. Marsman and the Hon. Mr. S. H. Dodwell were re-elected directors, and Messrs. Lowe, Bing- ham and Matthews were re-
