The market was uncertain,
COTTON:" The Government estimate of 11,928,000 bales, about as had been expected. This shows a decrease of 450,000 bales. as compared with the figure of 12,380,000 bales a month ago. There was a moderate amount of bedge selling on favourable weather con- dition's for ginnings. Trade demand was slow but sentiment on this publication is bullish, we expect eventually higher prices.
RUBBER: The market was quiet but steady, and trading re- mained in a very narrow range. Most of the buyers came from Com- mission Houses, while gelling was scattered among dealers and local operators.
WHEAT: "There was some scattered liquidation on the uncer. tainties of the latest peace moves Winter wheat seeding is making favourable progress over the South-West and in the Ohio Valley. ·
