COTTON: After a rather quiet and dull session, the market closed firmer on buying by the Trade, better. inlll demand, specula- tive buying and firmness on Wall Street, following receipt of news from Europe fndicating probable rejection. by the Allies of the Russo-German peace. feelers.
RUBBER: Prices overnight moved higher on good buying orders, a renewal of speculative interest and better factory demand,
WHEAT: Absence of rain in the drought sections brought about a good measure of buying and covering and prices advanced on this factor together with better milling demand and the strength of the stock market.
