Market "very steady, but offers were scarce. COTTON: In spite of the weekly crop report being of a bearish nature, prices remained steady to frm on good buying and covering while offerings on the whole were scarce.
RUBBER: Prices bo-day were steady on a featureless market. Towards the close, there was a revival of factory demand and prices sdvanced on this and on lack of selling offers.
WHEAT: After a somewhat higher opening an better foreign re. ports, prices later went lower on realising. Equidation and lack of demand together with reports of some rains in the dry sections of the Belt.
