-Hongkong, Sept. 23. The market has been very quiet. and the daily volume of business has continued to dwindle throughout the week. At the close of business to-day trading, except for a few desultory sales, is almost at a standstill. Holders, Anding diffi- culty in disposing of shares, were content to wait for better prices rather than to accept low bids.
