LONDON, SEPT. 12′′ (REUTER)—WARSAW IS STILL BEING HELD BY THE FOLES. THE COMMANDER OF THE CITY GARRISON, COL. LIPINSKY, IN A BROADCAST OVER THE WARSAW RADIO LAST NIGHT, SAID THAT. THE GERMAN ATTACK ON THE CITY WAS ABATING.
Three out of four German tanks have been captured. One tank was captured in an attack on a suburb and Col. Lipinsky said the value of tank amounted to nothing in street fighting as it could not get through the narrow streets and could not reply to fire from housetops.
