Lower advices from abroad and the woskĝess of the Sterling ex- change caused a lower opening here and prices declined further on speculators selling, liquidation and on Wall Street and foreign selling.
NEW YORK RUBBER
Despite favourable cables from the primary markets, prices here declined on lack of any improvement In the situation in Europe and. general nervousness as to the outlook. The continued depreciation. in- Sterling is also an adverse factor.
CHICAGO WHEAT
The market opened sharply higher on firm Liverpool advices and, later advanced on general buying following more pessimistic reports from the Continent. There was some profit-taking at the higher levels and prices reacted partially towards the close.
