Philanthropist's Plans For Refugee School

ANOTHER GROUP OF BUILDING PROJECTS IN KOWLOON show outstanding progress of social clubs, educational expansion and the long-proposed." King George's Playing "Field" for Chinese children. This shows substantial improvement in the several branches.
The largest building plans for schools have been formulated by Mr. Aw Boon Haw. This well known philanthropist is donating a large area of ground at Fanling and the buildings to be erected..
The project is a School for Student Refugees at Fanling.j Twenty-four blocks will be made into a playground, four, blocks for classrooms, one block is set aside for practical cooking. The dormitories will occupy seven blocks; four blocks for bathrooms. SEPARATE BLOCKS
In nine separate blocks will be housed a library, assembly hall.) dining room, kitchen and servants' quarters. There will be a student's workshop, treasury and adminis- tration offices with staff quarters.
