Wimbledon tennis champion, Alice Marble, is going on the Alms not as a tennis star, but as a fun star.
"There will be no tennis for me on the Aims," she sofd when interviewed in Dublin.
The contract bans any role as tennis player, so It will not inter- fere with Miss Marble's amateur | status.
"But that does not mean I shall give up my tennis." Miss Marble explained, "I am going to Call- fornia in the autumn, and shall ¡play a great deal".
