The Past Student Teachers'. Union was inaugurated on Satur- day afternoon following a meeting held at the Hotel Cecil

The aim of the Unton. it was stressed, was to represent the needs of the student teachers but not intended as an opposition party to the present Teachers' Association, oz to intimidate the Education Department and heads at the schools.
