"The market opened with prices-unchanged for all deliveries as compared with Monday's closing quotations.
Early in the morning the market exhibited a steady undertone. thus responding to conditions prevailing in London and New York. Fairly good buying orders for "actuals" from consuming centres in- fluenced some trade-buying for distant deliveries, but speculators still preferred to keep aloof.

Later in the session, after a transitory period of quietness, the market became easier on speculative selling, which partly consisted of liquidation of July-September options, whilst prices registered a slight decline of 1/8 cent. for all deliveries.
It is believed that speculators might have been induced to partly liquidate their long positions due to the disappointing action of the $10.Stock-markets, particularly in New York, coupled with the continued
uncertainties still surrounding the international political situation.

After a quiet opening, the market became active and and prices moved up on trade and foreign baying. Better news from. Washington imparted some impetus to the advance in prices, which was further sustained by good speculative buying and "bear" cover- ing. The market closed with prices maintained at the day's best levels.
NEW YORK RUBBER
Initial prices were slightly marked down in to-day's market, which eased off on some speculative selling and liquidation. How ever, the undertone of the market was good.
CHICAGO WHEAT
To-day's market displayed an initial buoyancy. New speculative buying was influenced by unfavourable crap reports and better cables, which advanced prices sharply higher.
