SIAN, June 13 (Central)-Chinese forces in Shansf Province have won another victory over the Japanese as a result of a fierce counter-offensive against the in- vaders driving towards the Yellow River bank in the

Kuntu Yellow River crossing. and Hjulin, strategic town east of Kintu, have been both recaptured by the Chinese.
The Chinese commenced their counter-attack on June 9 and by. the following morning,, the Japan- ese at Lulin and Maotsintu were badly beaten and retreated in an easterly direction. They suffered further, ipsses as a result of Chi- nese ambuscades on the way of their retreat.
