SHANGHAI, June 7 (Reuter)-Mr. R. M. Tinkler, employed by the British-owned company, the China Printing and Finish- Ing Company, who was wounded during a clash with JapaLOESG bluejackets at Pootung in the company's mill premises where he was trying to settle a fracas among his mill workers, died at the General Hospital in the Japanese-occupied Hongkew district of the International Settlement at 4.50 a.m. this morning, following an emergency operation which had to be carried out late last night after he had been brought across the river to Shanghai. “
