INTERESTING DISCOURSE BY PROF. W. BROWN ON A TRIP TO SPITSBERGEN

A learned and interesting discourse on Spitsbergen, composed partly of reminiscences of a trip in that country in the summer of 1936, and partly of general remarks on the geography and history of the place, was given by Prof" W. Brown, of the Uni- versity of Hongkong, to local Rotarians, at`a luncheon held in the Roof Garden of the Hongkong Hotel yesterday.

A number of photographs and a large wall-map were used by Frofessor Brown to illustrate his talk, which was well received by the gathering of members and guests present.
