have been in this Colony, duly attended to and carried out.

But I am induced to notice the reference made in this Circular to "the Seventh Section of the Fourth Chapter of the Colonial Regulations, as it appears to me that this Section of the said Charter is irrelevant to the subject in hand, and that the 7th paragraph of the pet section of the Fourth Chapter was meant.

The Copy of the Regulations sent me was received only four Months ago through agent, and is dated 1843. Should a more recent edition be in force, I have the honor to request that this Government be provided with Copies of it.
