The Feast of the Most Holy Trinity, which is celebrated to-- morrow, is a feast that for many centuries it was not thought necessary to observe, since the Blessed Trinity is hondured in every prayer and in every ceremony of the Church,
The feast was actually instituted in the fourteenth century. The doctrine of the Blessed Trinity-of a God Who exists in three Persons is a central belief of the Christian religion and has, since the earliest days of the Church, been a distinguishing mark of Christian teaching.
